Starting the second week of The Bing Crosby meet, we have three solid plays for today.
RACE 1 ----- # 5 TIGER OF THE SEA (3-1) Second race back after 13 months on the shelf. Almost went wire to wire last time out going 6 furlongs on the turf, now shortens up to 5 furlongs and is the ONLY true speed in the race, and has 4 works since her last race. Trainer Koriner takes off the blinkers today and Jockey Ayuso gets the ride back.

RACE 4 ----- # 2 MONGOLIAN MAX (5-2) Has been claimed in his last two starts, now drops all the way to 10 k. His last race was 5 months ago, and trainer Aguirre places this horse in for a win off the bullet work. Jockey has WON with him twice before. Has ONLY won at a mile.

RACE 7 ----- # 3 TITANIC THOMPSON (3-1) Shortened up from 6 furlongs to 5 on the turf. Opened up in the stretch in last, only to get nailed on the wire. Three nice works since races and Jockey Ayuso sticks with him for trainer Miyadi. Has 3 starts on the turf with a Win-Place-Show to his credit. # 8 GOLD COUNCIL just finished ahead of our pick, but we have the pace play today.
