RACE 3 ----- # 4 - FIRST OR LAST (5-2) - Just got beat by LITTLE OPAL, who just won on Thursday for fun. Now trainer Doug O'Neill puts her back on the dirt. Had a race over the track after coming in from Churchill Downs. He put (2) two four furlongs works into her. Should be forwardly placed, and laying right off the pace.

RACE 6 ----- # 8 - ZAKIEL (3-1) - Lots to like here, dropping back to a sprint after running 2nd in his last race. Ran 3rd first time out and a big jockey switch to Hernandez. Third time is the charm as the blinkers go on for trainer Eurton (25% winner) and jockey/trainer are 22 % winners. Four works since last raced has him set for the best.
THE BET: # 8 WIN and SHOW and SINGLE in the Pick 3-4-5's

RACE 11 ----- # 11 JETOVATOR (7-2) - Back in the day, this gelding would be called a "HAWKINS HOSS" !!! A 10 year old war horse that is still firing bullets! Has been 3rd and 1st in his last two races at Del Mar at this distance. Came off a 8 month layoff to miss by a half a length with the top Beyer in the field. Love the connections here and should be a lot tighter animal today!
